FM Transmitter Mount

OK – Long time no post! Appologies for that, work has been very busy.

I came across this beauty from TomTom whilst looking for a new sat nav. 

It doesnt look like anything more than your average GPS mount, but thats the beauty of it! This amazing mount hides an FM transmitter that broadcasts the GPS audio to your car stereo! Maybe nice if you think the built in speaker is a bit crappy, but think how good that is if your GPS has a bluetooth handsfree function: Mobile phone calls through your car stereo speakers!

Well done TomTom. Simple yet very useful.

An asside- I have a Garmin Nuvi 300 at the moment …. think I may get a TomTom now & my partner can have the Nuvi!

New Look

Hello readers!

Firstly, you will have noticed the change in appearance of the blog. Not sure if it’s an improvement?

Secondly, I haven’t posted much lately due to other commitments, but Iwill pick things up again now.

Thanks to everyone who has got involved in the site – all those people, wazza for one, that has answered questions on things. 

Choose a Blog

I recently choose WordPress to blog from, after looking at others including Blogger and Live Spaces.

Not a lot in it really – they all offer free space, themes etc

I think it was the simple interface to managing things in WordPress that convinced me + I’m in good company with bloggers like Scobleizer! Users thoughts on WordPress here.

I’d like to have a way of posting from the e61- might try the m.wordpress.com access. Where do you blog from, ever post from work?
